# Starfest 2026

> Starfest is a Portuguese festival dedicated to astronomy and astrophotography, held annually in the Arouca Geopark (Dark Sky reserve), Portugal. The 2026 edition takes place in August 2026.

## About

Starfest brings together astronomy enthusiasts, astrophotographers, and nature lovers for several nights of stargazing, workshops, talks, and guided observations under some of the darkest skies in Europe. The event is trilingual (Portuguese, Spanish, English) and welcomes participants from across the Iberian Peninsula and beyond.
